Power BI Analyst

Job Role

BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence function building reports in Power BI to integrate into our software for customer use as well as producing internal dashboards. You will participate in working groups, both internal & with customers, to define and validate the requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis
  • Presenting information through reports and visualisation
  • Define & maintain the various data models/data marts
  • Using your analytical skills to surface insightful data
  • Working with the Product Team to understand requirements and make accurate estimations

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years of creating Power BI Dashboards with strong knowledge of DAX with data sources such as Google Analytics
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks
  • Experience working with Dimensional & Relational Databases particularly SQL queries
  • Strong Excel data analysis skills using capabilities such as Power Pivot
  • Experience working in a SaaS business
  • Technical Degree, ideally Computing or Maths based
  • Experience HCM Performance Management domain is desirable
  • Experience with Embedded Power Bi – Desirable
  • Familiar with Atlassian products – JIRA – Desirable
